Explore something new
• It can be difficult to put yourself out there when trying something new. Give yourself time to try out something new in a different environment with friends or family. Trying something new can help the victim to find something they can be comfortable with again.
• Giving them a new outlet of feelings and emotions can help them to pick themselves back up again and thrive like they used to before the events of bullying take place in their lives.
Learn to express yourself
• Expressing yourself in different ways such as in clothing, dance, art, and etc. can help the recovery process. Do something that you feel comfortable doing or something that you feel shows people who you are and what you can do.
• Doing this may bring out a bright outcome as the victims recover from the experience of bullying. Once they learn to express themselves in their own ways, the in their own moves or choices will develop and soon grow into something new and benefit them in many ways.
Learn how to ignore their comments
• Learning how to ignore a bully’s words may seem difficult for others due to the bullies throwing words that are already under the belt but some do choose to ignore it. Victims often come across bullies who verbally hurt them by throwing very personal words but learning how to ignore it can really help the victim to improve on their own because they know the truth about what they’re saying.
• The bully just jumps into random info they find about their victim but if the victim knows that they are clearly wrong, they can learn to ignore it since they know the truth for themselves and prove them wrong.
