Tips To Rebuild Yourself After Bullying

As we all know, self-esteem and self-confidence had been the very basic things that every people have but are the once that can lose in an instant when somebody bullies and hurt an individual.

Knowing that bullying (in all forms) had been one of the number one cause of low self-esteem and low self-confidence specially among teenagers, we would like to give you some tips on how to rebuild yourself after being bullied.

  1. Tell yourself that you are enough. If somebody had told you that you were not good and not enough, let them be. Don't believe them. You did your part as a person. You know yourself more. You know who you really is. You know everything including your strength and weaknesses.

  2. Treat yourself once in a while. You should take a break from giving someone a good life so that you can give it to YOURSELF! Go out and date yourself. You deserve it!

  3. Change up your hairstyle. Try something new. Don't be afraid if somebody is going to judge you based on your looks. We call it FASHION! Show them the bold side of yours.

  4. Watch your favorite movies. It's not too late to watch movies or to look back on your favorite movies. You're going to learn a lot of lessons there that you can use to improve yourself.

  5. Make something you’ve never made before. As what I've stated above, TRY SOMETHING NEW! You are free, do everything you want. Enjoy every moment of your life. YOLO!

  6. Shout out a window really loud about how amazing you are (we dare you). Don't even care of what people will think of you when you shout instead, give them a smile and be proud!

  7. Allow yourself to laugh more. It helps in reducing your stress hormone level.

  8. Be outside more. Be a discoverer! Or hang out with people who make you feel good.

  9. Talk to that mate/friend that always makes you giggle. You are not alone because according to them, "No man is an Island". Talk to them they'll make you feel better.

  10. Read books about people who have similar experiences to you. From there, you will have a chance to learn something from them.

  11. Accept who you are and own it. This will allow you to be comfortable with your place in the world and be honest with yourself. If you can build your self confidence, you will live a life free of self criticism.

  12. Accept a compliment by saying ‘thank you’. Don't say "No, I am not" when someone gave you a compliment. Be thankful and take it as a positive one because that is what they've seen in you.
